The "American Classic" was the first Epoxy Floor Package that we offered when we began installing garage floors professsionally in 2003, it features the timeless medium lightish grey epoxy with a partial distribution of Decorative Flakes (Chips) in the Color Combination Grey, White & Black. A partial distribution means that only some of the surface of the epoxy is covered with chips opposed to a "Heavy" saturation of Chips that totally covers the grey epoxy. Then we apply Amorseal Clear Coat (urethane) over the epoxy and chips for a Gloss Finish, but before we install the epoxy we diamond blade grind the concrete, then we fill all of your cracks & holes.  This Epoxy Flooring System is ready for Foot Traffic in 24 Hours after the Clear Coat is applied and it is ready for Vehicles in 72 Hours after the Clear Coat is applied. -10 Mils of FloorGuard HyperBond 100% Solids Epoxy. 100% Solids is Industrial Grade Material that does not shrink because it contains zero thinner in it.

-A Partial Coverage of 1/4" class size flakes in the familiar White, Black and Grey Color Combination.

-Clear Top Coat of Sherwin Williams Armorseal Clear Coat. Armorseal by Sherwin Williams is an Industrial Grade Clear Coat that will Protect your Chips and Epoxy but takes 24 Hours to dry for foot traffic and 72 Hours for vehicles. (We have a Flooring Option Below that is ready for Vehicle Traffic in only 12 hours)

-No Peel Warranty. We offer a Real Warranty that we actually honor. Other businesses with only a few years of experience compensate by claiming to have a lifetime warranty. It is not possible for a garage floor coating to last for a lifetime, this is why their fine print defines a lifetime as 8, 10 or 15 years. Most people do not read the fine print and are tricked until they find out about this legal deception. Additionally the Lifetime Warranties only cover the product and not the installation or workmanship. This means you would still pay however much they want to have your garage floor repaired even if it peels within their definintion of a lifetime. We can't imagine tricking someone like this. It tells you a lot about a company or a person who purposely does this. If you need repairs afterwards you can still get them, and they are not expensive. The Lifetime Warranty companies eventually get bad reputations after a few years, therefore the business model relies on franchises to absorb the negative feedback that can be closed when people figure out they were mislead while the parent company continues to operate and open other franchises within the same market. When you do business with ABC Garage Floors of (North, Central, West, Etc, of Houston) you are not legally doing business with ABC company, it is actually the North or whatever part of Houston company that legally holds responsibility for your warranty. Even if you were able to find the phone number for and contact the parent company after they close the franchise they would tell you that the franchise is closed and that they can not help you.

The Heavy Chip Polyaspartic Garage Floor Package

The "Heavy Chip Polyaspartic Floor Package" has Two Full Saturations of Chips, one layer inside the coating and the other on top of the coating so that after you wear past the first layer in several years from now it will expose more chips that match instead of showing the grey polyaspartic coating underneath so that you do not have solid grey areas on your floor where you used it the most. This unique process provides a floor that literally lasts twice as long. Read more about this unique process further below. Polyaspartic is Stronger than Epoxy (see spec sheets below or Here) and Has Better Adhesion than Epoxy and it is Flexible so that this floor does not crack over cracks like epoxy naturally does. Epoxy is a non-flexible product so it cracks when placed over moving cracks (all cracks move) as seen in the video here. Best of all this floor dries so fast you can drive your car on it the VERY NEXT morning (fully cured in 12 hours GUARANTEED!) This means you can have your floor installed the day after closing on your home and then move all of your stuff into your home thru the garage the very next morning! We can work with you to expedite the installation process by grinding your concrete the day that you close on your home (which normally occurs around noon.) We are here to acommodate you. -10 Mils of 100% Polyaspartic (Highest Quality Polyurea) GP4850 by Sherwin Williams (Spec Sheets)

-Two Full Saturations of Chips, one layer inside the coating and the other on top of the coating so that after you wear past the first layer in several years from now it will expose more chips that match instead of showing the grey polyaspartic coating so that you do not have solid grey areas on your floor where you used it the most. This unique process provides a floor that literally lasts twice as long, but it requires more chips, a significant amount more. In order to cover the top layer of epoxy with chips it requires .125 pounds per sq ft of floor. This means a 2 car garage that is 400 sq ft needs 50 pounds of chips. Therefore we put down the Polyaspartic thicker so that they purposely sink, then we add another .125 pounds per sq ft. This means we use 100 pounds of chips just for a 400 sq ft two car garage which is four of the 5 Gallon Home Depot Orange Buckets. We are the only company in Houston that does this. -Clear Top Coat of 100% Polyaspartic Sherwin Williams GP4850 at 10 mils Thick. 10 Dry Mils of Clear Coat is a significant amount of clear coat. It is not ruff and jagged but smoother like an orange peel. It does have a slight texture but it is not jagged like the thinner clear coats used by the competition, our floor literally feels like an orange peel. This floor offers the MOST VALUE.
